   LaMont and my Pop has one of the sickest sets of irons, Maruman Curtis Strange blades, and knows how to work blades. But he's always been a generation or two behind on drivers.

   He has done so much to help me out and been not just my Pop but a great friend. So I came across this head on the bay and had to let go some cash. I pick up a Graphite Designs Throttle LDA shaft for it and it is incredible. Now I have to find another for me. I got to hit it on my favorite hole in golf, #18 at CaveCreek in Phoenix last weekend and fell in lust immediately. Now I understand the pricing !! Was talking with Tad about it the other night. All of the big OEMs have the same basic research results from their R&D guys, but only in Japan can they price so as to justify producing the very most advanced clubs. Kinda sad to discover, we're getting the K-Mart end of the spectrum as our "high end".

   My Lil' Brother LaMont of MannKrafted.com recently got involved with applying his unique polymer finishes to drivers and it caught the attention of a few OEMs. These two Generation 1 Krank Rages are pretty ULTRA SICK at least to my eye... so I ordered one also. Mine is coming in a 7.5* loft and otherwise identical to the "Stealth Black" one pictured here. It will be shafted with a John Daly "Personal" ETA Penley in XX Flex at 47.5 inches. Should be a long range assasin !!
